INTERGEO 2022, the world's largest event for the geospatial industry, is back after a long wait caused by the pandemic. The organizers were unsure whether visitors would return, but to their surprise the halls were lively and packed with people from all over the world, and the event was a success.
One of the visitors was Bruno Krenski, a Brazilian surveyor who also runs a YouTube channel and is an influencer in the geodetic community. He was excited to be back at INTERGEO after a three-year break and to catch up with friends from previous years.
Bruno was impressed by the technology on display at INTERGEO, especially the growing autonomy of surveying equipment such as robot dogs and autonomous survey vehicles. He noted that this was a big change from previous years, when most of what he saw were laser scanners.
Besides Bruno, INTERGEO 2022 drew many other representatives from countries around the world. The event was a hub for news, new technologies and developments in the geospatial industry, with halls bustling with people eager to learn about the latest trends in hardware, software and surveying equipment.
INTERGEO 2022 proved a success, and the return of visitors offered a glimmer of hope for the geospatial industry after the pandemic.
