SLAM Master is a surveying game and 3D reality capture simulator: laser scan each site with handheld SLAM, a terrestrial laser scanner (TLS), a LiDAR drone or a robot dog, tie in the control points and deliver a point cloud with an accuracy report. Free, in your browser, on desktop and mobile.

How it works
Every site calls for the right equipment and the right technique, just like a real survey.
Choose the right equipment
Each job calls for one: handheld SLAM is fast indoors; the TLS gives precision on large structures; the drone reaches ceilings and heights; the robot dog goes into hazardous areas.
Plan before you scan
Check the site and the client’s scope before you start scanning: plan your route or setups to cover everything without backtracking. A good plan saves time and battery.
Tie in the control points
Capture the targets placed around the site, using your equipment’s method. Each target ties the cloud to the site coordinates and corrects the drift.
Use your equipment’s technique
SLAM, robot dog and drone: move smoothly, close loops and finish where you started. TLS: set up overlapping stations and tie each one in.

The giant dinosaur hall, the fossil gallery and the Minerals & Meteorites gallery, ahead of the new exhibition.
Microbrewery
A working brewery: brewhouse, fermentation tanks, canning line, cold room and support rooms.
Arena
A geospatial trade-fair hall: exhibitor stands, a TV studio with LED walls, a coffee bar, a conference room and a food court. Any equipment is allowed, and each one has its own leaderboard.

Carries the scanner on its back and walks steadily at the right pace: great for long corridors and places too risky to send people. You drive it with the controller.

The TLS works on a tripod, setup by setup: the most accurate point cloud in the game. Each new setup has to see the previous one so the registration holds.

At the end of every survey, a processing report like the ones from post-processing software:
- 3D point cloud with the trajectory and control points
- Coverage, precision (RMS) and maximum drift
- Quality control with USIBD LOA accuracy classes
- A grade from S to D and what was left unscanned

Monthly leaderboard and seasons
The leaderboard resets every month: fight for the top in each mission and with each piece of equipment. Levels (XP) run by season and restart every quarter.
